First up... What is Crossfit?
CrossFit is a health and fitness modality that brings together groups of like minded people that want to prioritise their health and well being through community interactions, nutrition and exercise.
CrossFit was founded in California in 2000 and since then has spread all around the world through its Affiliate program and also through the CrossFit Games, the competitive section of CrossFit.

Although CrossFit has taken many shapes and forms over the years, the core methodology of CrossFit ‘Constantly Varied Functional Movements performed at high intensity’ has not changed and is still one of the most superior group training methodologies.
Why we became a CrossFit Affiliate?
Most importantly... CrossFit works!
CrossFit uses functional movements.
Some examples of these are squatting, lifting, running, jumping, pushing and pulling. These movements prepare you for tasks in everyday life, giving you more energy and reducing your risk of injury doing mundane daily tasks.
CrossFit is performed at high intensity.
Intensity is relative for the person participating and therefore each workout can be modified or scaled to allow all ages and backgrounds to take part. Performing exercise at high intensity allows you to get more done in a shorter period of time compared to conventional gym routines.
CrossFit is constantly varied.
CrossFit mixes a wide range of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and stability workouts. These tick the most important boxes for our health and longevity.. Completing the CrossFit training methodology 3-5 days per week will help fend off preventable disease, improve your energy levels and help against the effects of aging.
CrossFit is fun.
